Shared Lives is a service within Adult Services in the Vale of Glamorgan County Council. We recruit Carers who have their own homes to support individuals with varying needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, mental health issues and dementia. Our assessed and trained Carers then open their own family home to the person needing support, both Carer and Individual are carefully matched.

Pay Details: Grade 9 (spinal point 31-35) £41,771- £46,142 (Pro Rata), £21.65- £23.92 per hour.
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to join the Shared Lives team as a Senior Project Worker. In this new role, you will assist the Shared Lives Team Manager in providing practical leadership and supervision to Shared Lives project workers and carers and ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of daily operations. You will have the opportunity to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team. As the Senior Project Worker you will also hold a caseload of Shared Lives Carers.
