A leading UK Main Contractor in Bristol is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to join their engineering team for a major new build project spanning several years. The role involves responsibilities such as setting out, QA, CAD oversight, and supervising site operations. Experience with RC Works, Piling, and Infrastructure is beneficial. This position offers a great opportunity to work on a large-scale development, including offices, training facilities, and an auditorium.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with RC Works, Piling, and Infrastructure would be of benefit.

Responsibilities

• Setting Out responsibilities on site.
• Ensuring quality assurance during construction phases.
• Utilizing CAD for site layouts.
• Conducting site surveys.
• Maintaining As-Built documentation.
• Supervising construction activities.
• Managing paperwork related to the project.

Job description

An existing client to Sphere, are looking to employ a Setting Out Engineer with immediate effect. The successful candidate will work as part of an Engineering Team, across a large new build major project in Bristol. It will be constructed over a minimum of 5 years and across multiple phases. The end product will consist of a new build Campus, Auditorium, Office Blocks, Training Facilities, Restaurant, Kitchens, and underground Car Park.
