Service Technician

From c£31,000 plus car

Oxford, Oxfordshire

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Decontamination Technician / Field Service Technician to work both at a Hazardous Waste Handling site & at other similar sites from time to time as required. This varied & interesting role will involve working days, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional work away from home.

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for :

• Carrying out specialist cleaning tasks, such as tank cleaning, site decontamination, emergency spillage response & other varied duties
• Operating tools & equipment in line with SOPs
• Complying with site permits & stringent environmental standards
• Participating in extensive Training, job risk assessments & an emergency response rota

To be considered for this role you should have :

• Experience working outdoors, industrial cleaning, waste handling or similar
• A willingness to participate in training & emergency rota duties
• Be willing to work towards certifications such as CSCS, Nebosh, IOSH, IPAF etc
• A full UK driving licence
