We are seeking a proactive and meticulous IT Service Technician to become an integral part of our essential operational team. You will directly contribute to maintaining operational continuity and achieving high-priority service targets for a valued client.

Make an Impact: Core Contributions

You will be empowered to own the end-to-end technical support and logistics for your assigned Hub, ensuring the entire network runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Service Level Ownership: Take full ownership of assigned support tickets (for the Hub and surrounding areas), providing timely updates and expert call management to consistently meet contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Asset Integrity Champion: Act as the local authority for hardware stock, meticulously scanning and tracking equipment in and out. Your accuracy ensures the integrity of our entire asset inventory.

  • Driving Operational Flow: Efficiently manage the secure disposal process and oversee the replenishment of remote IT lockers, directly ensuring resource availability where it matters most.

  • The Technical Specialist: Triage faults and perform hands‑on hardware repairs for 'in-warranty' kit, acting as the crucial interface with external vendors for parts and returns. You keep critical systems online.

  • Team and Process Catalyst: You will work collaboratively, following established, essential procedures. Critically, you are encouraged to raise potential service issues or improvements directly to your Team Leader, driving forward‑thinking service enhancement.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience: Proven ability to manage technical logistics and hardware repairs within a fast-paced field/deskside support environment.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

  • Duration: 6-Month Contract
