We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Service Manager to our services in the Peterborough area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, making a difference, and ensuring that people receive the highest quality support.

Responsibilities

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and developing a dedicated team of Support Workers. You will ensure that the services deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support in line with Mencap’s values and CQC standards. Your role will involve managing day‑to‑day operations such as rotas, budgets and compliance, while maintaining strong relationships with the people we support, their families, and external professionals. Above all, you will create a positive, empowering environment where people are supported to live the lives they choose with independence and joy.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is caring, organised, and confident working in a people‑focused setting. Experience in social care or management is desirable, as you will need to have an understanding of what great quality care looks like. A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will be supporting services across the Norwich area.

Working Hours

Your working week is flexible over the 7 days week and may include working weekends.
