Within the Long term, Urgent, Cancer and Community (LTUCC) Directorate at Harrogate District Hospital, we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.

We are recruiting for a substantive Service Manager.

Service Manager posts are key positions within the LTUCC Directorate, responsible for providing day-to-day operational management and support.

Reporting to one of our two General Managers, the successful candidate will work closely with the Care Group Triumvirate Team, comprising the Care Group Clinical Lead and Matron, to ensure that we deliver high‑quality services, provide an excellent experience for our patients, and meet our regulatory and operational performance targets.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, efficient and effective operational service management support for all specialities within the Care Group to ensure that these services are responsive, innovative and provided to the highest possible clinical and performance standards.
  • Take forward agreed projects to improve service delivery and patient experience in key areas.
  • Lead on ensuring that all performance/quality targets are met.
  • Lead on ensuring the services are delivered within their agreed cost envelope and work toward creating efficiencies.
  • To be a key member of Care Group triumvirate team, taking full responsibility for actions and for keeping other team members fully informed at all times.
