They have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join the team in East Kilbride on a full time, permanent basis.

The hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week.

This is a key management role within the Branch. The ideal candidate needs to be absolutely trustworthy, committed to achieving results and self-motivating, you should have people management experience and be an extremely good team builder. Satisfying customers is the absolute key to success in this business and any applicant must be flexible and customer focused.

Both practical and theoretical engineering experience is necessary, as is an understanding and at least three years’ relevant experience of the maintenance service business/ crane industry/electrical knowledge. Basic financial and business understanding is also beneficial.

Your duties will include:
  • Development of Health and Safety Culture including branch and workplace safety.
  • Employee management,performance and development.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
  • Customer business reviews.
  • Resource planning.
  • Recruitment.
  • Budget management, analysis and reporting.
  • Forecasting.
  • Project Management.
  • Productivity review and management.
  • Leadership and direct all operational field activities and resources including safety.
  • Operationally derived quoting/customer consultation,
  • Material requisition/preparation
  • Vehicle and equipment management and service request execution.
