Do you want to take on the exciting opportunity of leading an innovative team and playing a key role in preventing rough sleeping? About the role We have an exciting role available for a motivated and passionate leader to join the Lewisham Assessment and Recovery Centre (LARC) team as a Service Manager. The LARC service aims to provide a service to support people to avoid rough sleeping, and act as rapid move on service for people with history of sleeping rough and move into suitable alternative accommodation. In the rewarding role of Service Manager, you will:

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day to day running of the service, support and manage a team across the project.
  • Work closely with local authorities, other housing providers, health and other specialist services to identify support for the clients and rapid move-on.
  • Provide line management and motivational support to a high performing team.
  • Liaise with partner agencies to build and maintain effective relationships to support effective service delivery.
  • Work on site Monday - Friday in Pagnell Street, Lewisham.
Qualifications
  • Have a genuine interest in the overall aims of the service, with a creative and dynamic approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships and negotiate with a wide range of partners and external audiences.
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment and manage a varied workload and multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the housing and support needs of people experiencing homelessness.
