What will you be doing?

The working rota for this role is Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm.

  • Allocating Aftersales resources in a cost-effective manner whilst remaining within budgetary guidelines, applying a flexible approach to the use of manpower and physical resources across divisions.
  • Achieving profit objectives that have been negotiated within a specific time frame.
  • Identifying opportunities to strategically develop the business and implementing long term plans.
  • Planning, initiating and promoting marketing events and promotions.
  • Reviewing the monthly sales and profit performance in co-operation with other department managers.
  • Building a strong rapport and relationships with external customers to secure long term profitable business.
  • Providing positive customer experiences in all instances, leading by example to promote a customer focused team performance.
  • Coaching and developing the job-related skills of team members to support improvements in their job performance.
  • Planning and adjusting the workloads of department personnel to match their skills and abilities, considering the shifting priorities of the department.
  • Communicating visions and goals to all team members.
Who are we looking for?

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have previous Aftersales experience working within the Commercial Vehicle Industry, working with Isuzu Truck, Ford Commercial, Fiat Professional, Peugeot, Citroen and Vauxhall.
  • Be familiar with automotive systems, warranties, services, repairs.
  • React to a sense of timescales and urgency.
  • Be able to lead, coach and motivate their team.
  • Have exceptional customer service skills as well as strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work to a high level of accuracy and have excellent organisational skills.
  • Possess a team player mentality.
  • Have a real drive to succeed and a need to exceed targets.
