A reputable engineering organisation is looking for a hands-on Service & Maintenance Engineer for field-based work on industrial projects. The role involves servicing and repairing industrial equipment, troubleshooting faults, and performing both mechanical and basic electrical work. A competitive salary of approximately £34,000–£40,000 is offered, along with a company vehicle and tools provided. This is a permanent position with Monday to Friday shifts, including a half-day on Fridays.

Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain and repair industrial equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out on-site troubleshooting.

  • Complete job documentation and provide clear handovers to clients.
  • Work safely and follow company procedures on customer sites.
Candidate profile
  • Practical experience in service, maintenance or repair of mechanical systems (experience with pumps/pressurisation desirable).
  • Relevant engineering qualification or demonstrable, hands-on experience.
  • Good electrical competence; formal electrical qualifications are an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence
