A leading M&E service provider in Cambridge is seeking a Service Engineer for commercial HVAC systems. The successful candidate will focus on preventive maintenance and emergency repairs while working closely with clients and internal teams. Overview

Position - Service Engineer - Commercial Air Conditioning

Company - Large National M&E provider with a national team of AC / HVAC / Refrigeration Service Engineers

Location - Cambridge / Cambridgeshire

Industry - Commercial HVAC / Air conditioning / AC / Refrigeration and Air Conditioning / Chillers / Water Cooled Chillers / Air Cooled Chillers

Responsibilities
  • You will be focused on Cambridgeshire region commercial planned preventive maintenance contracts and emergency fault find and fix call outs on commercial HVAC VRF / VRV air conditioning systems from the main HVAC / air conditioning manufacturers.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Extensive hands-on experience servicing HVAC systems.
  • Ideally capable at fault finding and fixing.
  • F-Gas, hydrocarbons, refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications / certifications; manufacturer training would be an advantage.
  • NVQ level 2 or level 3 would be an advantage.
  • Great teamwork and communication skills for client facing and internal regional team cooperation to service contracts and resolve fault find and fix call outs quickly and effectively.
  • If you have worked your way up on the tools as an apprentice and are highly knowledgeable with or without Level 2 or Level 3 AC and refrigeration certifications, please still apply.

Package / Benefits
  • Base salary range from £45,000 to £55,000 for 40 hrs per week.
  • 40 hours per week with overtime available.
  • Company van or a car will be provided.
