Job description

  • Job Title: Service Engineer

  • Location: Dartford, Kent

  • Salary: £35,000 - £43,000 per annum + Company Vehicle

  • Contract: Permanent, Full-time, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week / Some flexibility maybe required / (Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00)


About the Role


  • Do you have experience working in a Service engineering role?

  • Are you familiar working with either Genetec, C.Cure, or Lenel access control platforms?

  • Have you worked with one of these major video platforms: Axis, Genetec, Avigilon, Bosch, or Milestone before?

  • Are you experienced in delivering maintenance visits and have strong attention to detail?

  • Do you pride yourself on providing outstanding customer service and problem solving skills?

  • Does a varied role, where you'll be working in London, with flexibility to travel across the UK and occasionally abroad appeal to you?

  • Would you be confident operating in large-scale environments, including corporate offices, data centres, and satellite sites.

  • Are you interested in working for a highly established organisation who are expanding with an outstanding reputation?

Our Client

Our client is a highly established organisation which specialises in delivering and maintaining integrated security systems for leading companies in the UK and across Europe, Middle East & Africa. They are an energetic and creative team with offices in the City of London and Hertfordshire. They have a clear focus on delivering excellence in high quality installations and maintenance contracts for prestigious clients across many sectors. As they continue to expand at this exciting time of growth they are looking for Service Engineers to join their field based engineering team.


Technical Expertise


  • Proven ability to manage reactive service calls and demonstrate exceptional fault-finding skills on enterprise-level security systems.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one of, Genetec, C.Cure, or Lenel access control platforms.

  • Strong proficiency with at least one major video platform : Axis, Genetec, Avigilon, Bosch, or Milestone.

  • Solid networking skills are essential.

Working Environment


  • Must be willing and able to work on both construction sites and fit-out environments.

  • Experience of working across both large scale and small scale projects.

  • Prepared to work primarily in London, with flexibility to around the UK or travel abroad if required.

  • Willing to undertake occasional overtime, including weekends (approx. 1 per month) and some evenings when necessary.
