Job description

Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for one of our entities located in North London. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the lift and elevator maintenance and service across the defined area within London.
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first‑time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation.
• Be the face of the business, working with customers to provide snapshot of work carried out and any advisories following the service visit.

Qualifications

• Hold a NVQ level 3 or equivalent within lift service, maintenance or repair.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence.
• Have at least 12 months of experience in the lift industry.
• Have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Be a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
• Be comfortable communicating to others.
• Be curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
• Be comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
