Position: Service Engineer

Service Engineer Job Overview

• Deliver planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support for specialist vacuum degassing and drying systems, gas sampling units, and nuclear monitoring equipment.
• Diagnose and fault‑find across electrical, control & instrumentation (EC&I), mechanical, and vacuum systems.
• Carry out UK‑wide field service activities, with approximately six separate weeks of travel per year, scheduled and spread across the calendar.
• Support internal engineering activities, including system commissioning, build support, and factory/system testing.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Produce clear service reports and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Service Engineer Job Requirements

• Strong technical foundation with the ability to apply and develop hands‑on engineering_define skills across varied environments (training provided).
• Proven electrical, control, and instrumentation knowledge with practical experience.
