Qualifications

Job description
Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Service Delivery & Maintenance Planning Manager to lead the coordination and planning of aviation maintenance services under CAA Part M and Part 145. This role combines strategic service delivery oversight with hands-on maintenance planning, ensuring that aircraft inputs are effectively planned with minimal downtime and delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal to the successful delivery of a crucial contract where maximum aircraft availability is key. You will ensure all be responsible for seamless communication across all stakeholders to align maintenance activities with operational priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Interface & Communication: Serve as the single point of contact for the Customer, ensuring clear and consistent communication between all stakeholders and streamlining the flow of critical information.
  • Operational Alignment & Continuous Improvement: Integrate CAMO planning with operational priorities, balancing individual aircraft maintenance with the broader fleet schedule to maximise aircraft availability.
  • Identify and deliver ongoing continuous improvement measures to increase operational performance and reduce cost of delivery.
  • Maintenance Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning of scheduled maintenance activities, including pre-input meetings, work pack development, and resource coordination to ensure timely and efficient aircraft inputs.
  • Emergent Work Management: Oversee unplanned maintenance events, ensuring rapid response, stakeholder alignment, and accurate cost tracking and approvals.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Deliver service performance reports and track KPIs for both Customer and Supplier identifying and communicating key factors in the delivery driving metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, CAMO, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution and continuous improvement across service delivery.
Essential – Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Performed project service delivery management within aviation sector
  • Managing delivery against a set of agreed KPIs
  • Ability to discuss and understand aircraft technical details with the engineering personnel
  • Working knowledge of Part 145/Part M regulations
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office mainly)
  • Project Management tools, e.g. MS Project or equivalent
  • Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and a positive mindset
  • Customer oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Well organised and responsible
  • Able to work under pressure and handle stressful periods well
Advantageous
  • Project Management or Service Delivery qualifications (APM PMQ, MSP, ITIL etc.)
  • Recognised technical qualification in engineering or planning discipline
  • Competent in the use of MRO tracking software such as Corridor, RAMCO, IFS, Quantum or equivalent
