Service Advisor needed in the area of Bicester

44 hours per week, however, this does include a 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8am to 12 Noon – with hours for that spread across 52 weeks for salary purposes.

Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00 or 7.00 to 16.00 or 9.00 to 18:00, (with half an hour unpaid lunch break) 42.5 hours plus 1 in 3 Saturdays at 4 hours – spread over 52 weeks (total of 44 hours per week).

Salary circa £29-31k per annum for fully experienced candidate plus £3k per annum bonus.

We are working with a Commercial / LCV Garage who are actively looking for a Service Advisor to join there friendly team. Bicester area.

Service Advisor Duties include:

• Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements
• Produce job cards on in-house computer system
• Update customer and vehicle records
• Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
• Preparation and completion of invoices

For this Service Advisor position you will have:

• Previous experience working as a Service Advisor within a motor garage / commercial / HGV / LCV environment (not essential)
• Full driving licence

As a Service Advisor you will ensure the highest standard of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and members of the public.

In particular my client is looking for some one with strong customer service skills who has excellent customer rapport and can deliver great CSI results, along with being confident with up-sell opportunities.
