A municipal organization in Nottingham seeks a Server Support Analyst to join their Infrastructure Team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in deploying Windows Server, working with Microsoft and VMWare products. Responsibilities include maintaining IT infrastructure and coordinating systems administration tasks. Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: Starting Salary is £40,777 (Level one) rising to £44,075 (Level four) per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

The Server Support Analyst is a member of the Infrastructure Team. They provide specialist enterprise-level implementation, maintenance and support to the Council's IT infrastructure, supporting environments such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMWare vCentre and using tools such as the Microsoft System Centre suite. The analysts coordinate tasks with appropriate functions around the organisation and suppliers to ensure that systems administration tasks are completed to schedule and in line with ITIL standards, ensuring good practices, excellent documentation and high standards of operational effectiveness are implemented.
