Responsibilities
- Write high-quality and compelling SEO-optimised content for a variety of marketing channels, including, but not limited to, websites and news articles
- Identify and assess opportunities to optimise existing content to maximise rank and traffic.
- Collaborate with the central and digital marketing teams to produce effective content strategies
- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
- Ability to conduct high-quality research and write about a variety of topics
- Create, edit and proofread content based on keyword analysis and SEO best practices
- Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of content using SEO analytics tools
- Maintain and contribute to a content plan, ensuring it’s aligned with the objectives of the marketing department and various Group companies
- Keep informed with the latest changes in algorithms and SEO trends
- Accountable for CMS management for SEO, such as publishing and editing content.
- Assisting other members of the SEO team with technical, on site and local tasks.
Desired skills and qualifications
- At least two years’ experience in writing SEO-optimised content in a B2B environment, using SEO tools and generating keyword lists
- A strong understanding of SEO and content marketing principles
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail
- Proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong drive to take initiative
- Familiarity with web publications and proficiency in content management systems such as WordPress would be desirable
- Experience using popular SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, and Moz for keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimisation
- Excellent time-management, communication and organisational skill
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confidence in communicating with internal/external stakeholders, including, but not limited to, directors, clients, partners, etc
- Working within the professional services industry would be advantageous, but is not essential
