What You ll Be Working On:
Full Stack Development (80% of your time)
  • Architect, develop and optimise websites and web applications across front‑end and back‑end
  • Convert creative design concepts into functional, high‑performing websites using PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Maintain and improve existing client sites, adding features and resolving technical challenges
  • Collaborate with designers and strategists to ensure technical solutions align with creative visions
  • Support deployment, testing, and ongoing optimisation
Technical Leadership & Strategy
  • Define coding standards and best practices within the team
  • Mentor junior developers and support their professional growth
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends to keep the team and projects innovative
Client & Project Management
  • Liaise directly with clients, translating their needs into technical solutions
  • Take ownership of project timelines, deliverables, and quality assurance
Mandatory Tech Stack:
  • PHP (including modern frameworks and OOP principles)
  • MySQL database design and optimisation
  • JavaScript (including jQuery, and ideally modern frameworks like React or Vue)
  • HTML5 & CSS3 (SCSS & Tailwind preferred)
  • Version control using Git
  • Understanding of UX principles and design implementation
  • Ability to interpret and implement creative concepts into high-quality websites
Desired Tech Stack:
  • WordPress and Shopify development experience
  • Modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue/TypeScript)
  • Figma design integration
  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Linux server support experience
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
