Senior Transport Planner

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly capable Senior Transport Planner to join a dynamic and forward-thinking transport planning consultancy. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver small to medium-sized transport planning projects
• Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
• Conduct junction modelling using tools such as Junctions10 and LinSig
• Input to highway design and carry out swept path assessments
• Analyse transport data and provide technically robust recommendations
• Attend client and local authority meetings, as well as public consultations
• Produce high-quality written reports and technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in transport planning consultancy
• Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related discipline
• Solid understanding of transport policy and highway design standards
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
• Confident presenting ideas and solutions in client-facing settings
