A leading logistics company seeks a Senior Transport Operations Manager to oversee operational delivery and enhance transport solutions. Responsibilities include leading the Transport Department, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving performance against KPIs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and management skills, hold a National CPC, and demonstrate leadership in a fast-paced environment. Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £60,000 plus car / car allowance, 33 days holiday, pension, bonus, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits scheme
You will lead Transport contractual delivery, evolution, and development for the contracts within your area, ensuring the effective operation of the Transport function, and further develop integrated transport solutions to deliver a premium and cost‑effective service. You will produce, agree, and manage the budget, accounting for any variances, taking a proactive approach to fully engage any new initiatives at the depot, ensuring the integration of projects is successful in line with business needs. You will deliver operational and customer service excellence through innovation, continuous improvement, effective process management and effective leadership.
