Senior Trainee Recruitment Advisor - The role

To deliver a high-impact, inclusive, and integrated attraction and recruitment strategy that secures top-tier trainee solicitors and vacation scheme attendees. You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless candidate experience and strong stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities
  • Recruitment Process Management: Oversee assessment suppliers and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assessment & Selection: Design application and assessment processes, manage materials, make screening decisions, and conduct HR interviews.
  • Candidate Management: Lead the offer process, manage intake numbers and start dates, and ensure timely communication.
  • Candidate Experience: Plan and deliver market-leading vacation schemes (Winter, Spring, and Summer), positioning Linklaters as an employer of choice.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Track performance data, generate reports, and update senior stakeholders on recruitment effectiveness.
  • Event Coordination: Support and attend open days, insight schemes, skills sessions, and access events (50–60 annually).
  • Interview Oversight: Manage up to 550 interviews annually, ensuring consistency and quality throughout.
What we're looking for

  • Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment processes.
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and processes.
  • Experience in project and stakeholder management.
  • Willingness to attend events outside core working hours.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
