Senior Town Planner – Winchester – £Negotiable

We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking, client-focused consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality planning and environmental services. Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Town Planner to join their innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to shaping future developments across the UK.

About the Role:

As a Senior Town Planner, you will:

  • Lead on the preparation, management, and submission of planning applications and appeals.
  • Provide expert planning advice to a diverse range of clients, including residential, commercial, and public sector projects.
  • Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and the public throughout the planning process.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the team, helping to nurture talent and foster growth.
  • Contribute to the business development strategy, identifying new opportunities and fostering client relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field, with eligibility for MRTPI or equivalent accreditation.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a planning role, with a solid understanding of UK planning policy and legislation.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in dealing with a variety of stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for delivering high-quality planning solutions.
