Job description

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician or Science Manufacturing Technician with extensive aseptic manufacturing experience to join our growing and forward-thinking Pharmacy Aseptic Services Department at Northwick Park Hospital.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to become part of our dedicated team working in our new state-of-the-art aseptic unit. The facility features modern cleanroom design, advanced isolator technology, and digital process controls, supporting the delivery of high-quality aseptic preparation and manufacturing services.

Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for the day‑to‑day organisation and planning of the PN and Cytotoxic compounding service of the aseptic unit at Pharmacy Northwick Park Hospital according to the principles of GMP and QA.
  • Provide specialist Aseptic support to Senior Pharmacist Aseptic Services and the Lead Technician of Aseptic Services.
  • Manage and supervise the provision of pharmacy aseptic services, especially in the chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition (PN) reconstitution to all areas of the hospital.
  • Monitor resources, activities, and adherence to quality assurance in chemotherapy and PN reconstitution.
  • Assist the senior manager in developing Aseptic services in line with Trust and Pharmacy department development policies.
