This role involves leading design reviews, supporting bids and proposals, and defining technical solutions. As part of Detection and Measurement, Enterprise Control Systems (ECS) is a leading supplier of long-range data links that support real-time high resolution video transfer between air and ground users. In creating products like RF inhibitors and specialized equipment for military and security purposes, we protect ground forces and infrastructure around the world.
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Senior Systems Engineer for CommTech (Enterprise Control Systems & TCI), you will play a crucial role in the full product lifecycle from supporting bids and tenders, gathering requirements all the way through to system architecture definition, verification and delivery to our customers.
You will be joining a small dynamic team continually designing and developing world-class products. As a Senior Systems Engineer you’ll help lead technical development working closely with our other engineering disciplines such as RF, Hardware, Mechanical and Embedded. You will help define, develop and deliver bespoke engineering solutions supporting both New Product Development (NPD) and Revenue Generating Projects.

You will help guide the development delivering results to specification, on time and in budget. We are looking for somebody that is imaginative, thorough and practical with a track record of delivering results utilizing in-house and external resources.
As an experienced systems engineer you will have the confidence to solve a wide range of problems and be capable of leading from architecture through design, implementation, and verification. You will be competent at working independently and guiding other engineering disciplines.
