A leading housing organization in the UK seeks a Senior Surveyor to lead the Healthy Homes Team. This role involves managing a team to deliver high-quality property maintenance, overseeing major projects, and ensuring compliance with housing standards. As our Senior Surveyor, you will head up the Healthy Homes Team, driving excellence in property maintenance, tackling damp and mould issues, and delivering major works that transform homes and lives.
Leading a team of six surveyors and operatives to deliver high-quality inspections and remedial works in line with Awaab’s Law.
Overseeing our Stock Condition Survey programme, ensuring accurate asset data and compliance with housing standards.
Managing major works projects such as roof replacements and component upgrades.
Providing expert technical advice on building defects, disrepair cases, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborating across departments to deliver a seamless, customer-focused service.
Proven experience in surveying, asset management, or property maintenance.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent knowledge of housing regulations, building safety, and disrepair legislation.
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a passion for improving homes and services.
RICS Qualified
Relevant and up to date knowledge of building construction, surveying and building regulations.
Housing Health and Safety Rating qualified inspector
