A leading engineering firm in Barrow-in-Furness is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to work on complex steel structures for submarine build. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and requires an Engineering Degree plus relevant experience. Applicants with knowledge of Eurocodes and a working knowledge of analytical software such as ABAQUS will be preferred. Competitive benefits included.

As a Senior Engineer, you will be working with a dual-function team (design and engineers) of 14 people at various seniority levels (S3, S4, S5). The team is responsible for engineering assessments of designs in support of build. You will work with design to produce equipment and/or support operation in production to produce safety-critical equipment. Relocation packages across Submarines roles are available, subject to eligibility criteria.
