A regional healthcare provider is seeking a senior staff nurse in Molesey to enhance patient care management. The role involves working closely with team leads, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating care delivery. Ideal candidates will have 1st level registration and experience in team management and nursing. Responsibilities include developing care plans, facilitating educational programs, and ensuring quality standards. The position promotes a collaborative working environment and require ongoing professional development.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated senior staff nurse to join our team in a key role that supports the ongoing management and delivery of high-quality patient care within our clinical service. The post holder will work autonomously alongside the Team Lead, taking responsibility for the effective coordination of patient care and staff support, and acting as the senior point of contact in the absence of the Team Lead.
The post holder is responsible for the continuing management of the patients and/or staff within their clinical setting, without supervision alongside their team lead and taking the chain of command in the absence of their team lead.
This includes the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, the setting and maintaining of standards and the supervision and deployment of staff, if appropriate.
The post holder will undertake facilitation of educational programmes for basic, post basic and in‑service training, in close liaison with the Learning and Development Team.
To work closely with the senior team member to facilitate patient focused, innovative research based practice, in line with Surrey Downs Health and Care objectives.
