Senior Staff Nurse
Glasgow Hospital Ward Permanent Full time Evening & Weekend Availability
Up to 48000 depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Senior Staff Nurse at our Glasgow Hospital you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience including NMC. As well as post-registration experience you bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment and management.

As a Senior Staff Nurse you will:
  • Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring
  • Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues mentoring them to be the best they can be
  • Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient's needs
  • Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care
  • Provide day-to-day supervision including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students
  • Contribute to scheduling and rotas recruitment induction performance reviews and training
