As an Engineering Team Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of talented engineers, driving innovation and excellence in our projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of high‑quality software and platforms that make a real impact on our customers, businesses and communities. Within the Homes Platform we’re responsible for the UK’s biggest mortgage book. We are on a journey to transform our core technology and the technical capabilities of our colleagues. The Digital lab is responsible for products that fully align to modern engineering standards—hosted on Azure cloud infrastructure, using a micro‑service architecture, with JavaScript and TypeScript built applications using React and Node.js. Over the last two years we have launched new digital journeys on modern JavaScript frameworks, developed detailed suites of customer journey and analytics, transitioned workloads onto the Cloud and incrementally modernised and simplified our technology estate.
