Job Overview

Title: Senior Software Engineer 37020

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

Location: 1 week in office and 3 weeks from home – 1 Waterside, Kingswood Ave, Dublin, Ireland

Rate: €450 – €490 per day

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
• At least 10 years of development experience, including cloud, server‑side, and UI work
• Full‑stack developer experience with NodeJS and Angular
• Experience with AWS, Java, and React
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines – Jenkins or similar
• Experience harnessing AI to increase productivity and improve SDLC practices
• Experience working on Agile projects
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Highly motivated and self‑directed

Responsibilities

• Help develop and maintain all APS applications
• Collaborate with existing development teams to enhance, maintain current applications, and develop new ones
• Maintain and develop CI/CD pipelines for projects
• Write high‑quality code with automated end‑to‑end and unit tests
• Review pull requests of developers and test engineers, providing constructive feedback
• Work with project teams to clearly understand requirements
• Contribute to project schedules, balancing work to meet timelines
• Participate in formal reviews of application designs, business and functional requirements
• Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and customer‑focused skills
• Work independently to resolve issues and identify solutions
• Escalate technical and functional issues effectively and resolve them with the team and/or customers
• Follow Agile and TDD practices for process, architecture, design, code, and testing
