Senior Social Worker - Children

Location: Bradford (Hybrid Working)

Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00

Pay: Up to £35.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Type: Locum / Temporary

Overview

Bradford Children and Families Trust is looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Fostering Assessment Team. You will play a key role in safeguarding children by carrying out private fostering and fostering assessments - helping to ensure that children have safe, supportive, and loving placements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct thorough fostering and private fostering assessments
• Ensure all fostering arrangements meet safeguarding standards
• Work closely with children, families, foster carers, and partner agencies
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations to support decision-making
• Hybrid working model - mainly remote with essential office days for teamwork and meetings
