Band 7 - Senior Sister/Charge Nurse
Part time - 28 hours
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Urgent and Emergency Care Team within the Emergency Department at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
We have recently started a £20m refurbishment of our Emergency Care Village so there has never been a more exciting time to join the Urgent Care Directorate influencing and shaping both the Emergency Care our patients receive and the environment our staff work in.
The successful candidate will have significant Emergency Nursing experience and will lead by example using excellent communication skills, manage, prioritise and deliver high quality care to our patients. You will be expected to provide senior leadership and management, escalating concerns as appropriate to the ED Matron. Managing staff, reviewing appraisals and supporting health and wellbeing and day to day staffing with support of the multi-disciplinary ED management team. You will have completed level 2 RCN competencies and as a clinical expert, proactively develop yourself and others. You will lead and supervise the work of others and manage the emergency care setting as a whole; managing patient flow and delegating care accordingly.
