Exciting Opportunity

Hull University Teaching Hospitals are seeking a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join our diverse team of allied health professionals. The post holder will work gain experience working in a large busy acute teaching Trust that is a vascular and Trauma centre.

As a Senior Physiotherapist you will deliver the assessment and treatment of patients who present within the Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Service , delivering evidence based interventions to facilitate recovery, promote well-being , self-management and optimise independent functioning as far as reasonably possible in all areas of life.

We are seeking people who can adapt to changing environment and work well in a team. You will be expected to be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team and build social networks working in partnership with other agencies to identify and address the immediate need.

The rotations offer experience in:

  • Elective Orthopaedics
  • Musculoskeletal Outpatients including Gym
  • Virtual Fracture Clinic
  • Hands and Plastics
  • Rheumatology
  • Occupational Health
  • Vestibular and First Contact Practitioner Service

The post would suit a Band 5 physiotherapist who has completed their core rotations and feels ready for the challenge of the senior rotational position.

The post holder will be self-motivated and aspirational, be able to assess in an effective and timely manner in a busy environment. Confidence in enabling patients in self-management and personalised care.

Support will be provided to enhance operational management skills and the post holder will contribute to service planning, development and teaching. As a Senior Physiotherapist, the post holder will be a role model for their team and pride themselves on delivering high quality care and motivate their team to do the same.

There will be a requirement to support a 7 day rota and an on‑call rota.

The successful candidate will be fully supported in CPD programme.
