The Role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you\'ll support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, while guiding and mentoring less experienced colleagues. Your role will include:

  • Acting as a role model and leading shifts to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Building strong, positive relationships with young people
  • Supporting education, leisure activities, and daily routines
  • Contributing to care planning and safeguarding responsibilities
What we\'re looking for
  • You must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in residential childcare
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour with resilience and professionalism
  • Flexibility to work long day shifts (7am-10pm) and participate in sleep-ins
