Senior Relationship Manager (Lending)

A UK-based bank is looking to hire a Senior Relationship Manager to support the growth of its lending portfolio.


The bank works with a broad range of established organisations, community-focused businesses and mission-driven enterprises, providing structured lending solutions to support long-term sustainability and growth.


This is a remote-based role with the expectation of travel for client meetings.


The role


  • Originate and manage lending relationships across a defined portfolio

  • Structure lending transactions from initial conversation through to completion

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, advisers and boards

  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline aligned to the bank’s credit appetite

  • Work closely with credit, risk and operations teams to progress deals


What they’re looking for


  • Background in commercial, SME or specialist lending

  • Strong relationship management and origination experience
  • Comfortable discussing credit, structuring and risk

  • Experience with complex or non-standard borrowers is beneficial

  • Self-sufficient, relationship-led approach
