A leading NHS Trust in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Senior Radiographic Assistant to support radiographers and radiologists in delivering efficient patient care. The role includes assisting with various radiological procedures, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols, and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, a flexibly adaptable approach to work, and relevant qualifications, including GCSEs or A-levels in healthcare subjects. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

We are looking for individuals to join our multidisciplinary team of staff in the Radiology department within the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The role involves a wide range of duties that are required to assist staff performing radiological procedures. This can include patient care, portering and clerical work. These are all necessary to provide an efficient and caring imaging service. The successful candidate will require good communication and organisational skills, and be expected to work to agreed protocols and standards.
Based at either the Royal Victoria Infirmary or the Freeman Hospital, you will be expected to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends. You must have a flexible approach to duties and have the ability to work alone and as part of a team. Experience in a hospital/caring environment is essential.
