The Role
  • Major regeneration construction project near Reading valued at £500m. The project involves the construction of several new build commercial buildings.
  • Delivering a portfolio of complex building packages valued between £5m-£20m each.
  • All packages are being delivered using NEC4 Contracts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the commercial strategy for a section of a major building project from the initial calculations to close out.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors, award contracts that achieve estimated costs and project strategy.
  • Ongoing management of subcontractors, achieving the required standards and quality.
  • NEC contract management, minimising costs and risks, while enhancing value for money.
  • Negotiate and submit claims, variations and compensation events.
  • Prepare commercial progress and financial reconciliation reports.
