Job summary

A leading infrastructure contractor in the UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage contract documentation and liaise with project teams. This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for 3 days onsite and 2 of remote work. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and technical knowledge along with the ability to produce accurate cost reports. You'll play a crucial role in major infrastructure projects with Tier 1 contractors, ensuring effective cost control and management of contractual risks.

Permanent Staff Requirements
Based either Euston, North Acton or West Ruislip - Hybrid Working Arrangements, 3 days on site and 2 days WFH.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Role Brief:

  • Lead and develop the efficient and effective management and issue of accurate, timely and contract compliant documentation.
  • Work closely with project management and engineering teams and liaise with Employers commercial team and client team.
  • Produce documentation / evidence to demonstrate KPI achievement.
  • Competent in the application of IT skills to commercial management and the production of project documentation.
  • Demonstrate and maintain commercial and technical knowledge and work closely with technical staff to develop appropriate techniques and solutions for the project.
  • Assist with preparation of periodic progress valuations and claims for work completed.
  • Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and contract budget reports.
  • Maintain effective, accurate cost control.
