Job summary

Qualifications

  • Degree in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and proven success in construction roles.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using CEMAR.
  • Experience in the Utilities or Civils sector.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for effective procurement and management of subcontractors.
  • Producing CVRs, AFP's and Cost Forecasts.
  • Monitor staff, material, plant and other resources on site.
  • Administer bespoke Principal Contract with NEC and I Chem E Burgundy Book elements.

Skills

What will you be doing?

As our Senior Quantity Surveyor you'll be responsible for effective procurement and management of subcontractors, from agreement of terms and conditions, risk attribution and scope through to Final Account. Value and margin maximisation.

Producing CVRs, AFP's and Cost Forecasts.

You’ll monitor staff, material, plant and other resources on site. Administering the bespoke Principal Contract containing, among others, elements of NEC and I Chem E Burgundy Book. Work closely with the operational teams.

What you’ll bring
  • Degree in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience
