Job summary

A dynamic consultancy in the UK is seeking a reliable Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Hemel Hempstead. This role involves closely working with a Director and a small QS team on iconic healthcare projects valued up to £100m. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, excellent communication skills, and ideally experience in healthcare projects. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience required.
  • Ideally experience in running healthcare projects.
  • Excellent pre and post contract experience essential.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside a Director and QS team on healthcare projects.
  • Act as a key contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Support junior quantity surveyors in the team.

A dynamic, Cost & Project Management consultancy that delivers flagship projects across the healthcare sector, are seeking a reliable Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding office in Hertfordshire.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely alongside a Director and small QS team in delivering important, and iconic healthcare projects including new theatres, major refurbishments, multi‑story car parks and large‑scale office relocations, with projects valuing up to £100m.

Alongside project delivery, the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will also become a key contact for clients, stakeholders, and help support the more junior quantity surveyors within the team.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years Quantity Surveying experience
  • Ideally have experience of running healthcare projects
  • Completed a construction related degree, or MRICS
  • Good pre and post contract experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Worked within a PQS / Construction Consultancy practice
