A UK-based construction consultancy is seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors and Associate level individuals to support a major civil engineering and nuclear infrastructure programme. These roles are suited to commercially focused professionals with a track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects in a consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial management for a project section or major workstream
  • Prepare, analyse, and present Earned Value data
  • Oversee procurement processes and manage supplier performance
  • Produce accurate financial and performance reports
  • Support value engineering and risk mitigation strategies
  • Manage contract administration, particularly under NEC target cost frameworks
  • Lead change control, dispute resolution, and commercial governance
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Engage with clients and project stakeholders effectively
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience on complex civil engineering or nuclear infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts and target cost management
  • Chartered status with RICS, ICES, CIOB or equivalent
  • Experience leading commercial teams and delivering structured reporting
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Confident in stakeholder engagement and contractual negotiations
