Overview

A dynamic, forward-thinking construction consultancy with five UK offices is looking for a confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on flagship London-based projects and help drive the growth of their expanding QS team. This is a standout opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is ready to step into a leadership-focused role within a progressive, medium-sized consultancy making bold moves in the market. Based in Farringdon, the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work across a diverse portfolio, managing projects from feasibility through to final account. You will act as the commercial lead on schemes including high-end residential (private developers), mixed-use developments, commercial office refurbishments, education and schools, and façade and recladding projects. You’ll be joining a 27-strong London team, including a close-knit group of 3 Quantity Surveyors, with direct exposure to senior leadership. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll also mentor junior staff, manage key client relationships, and play a central role in the team\'s next growth phase, including a move into brand-new offices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on projects from feasibility through to final account as the commercial lead on schemes listed above.
  • Mentor junior staff and manage key client relationships.
  • Contribute to the growth of the London QS team and support the move into new offices.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, ideally RICS-accredited (MSc or BSc).
  • Strong QS background within a UK Consultancy/PQS firm.
  • Pre- and post-contract expertise, particularly in the built environment.
  • Client-facing confidence and leadership skills.
  • MRICS or commitment to achieving it is desirable.
  • Successful track record leading projects from inception to completion.
