Senior Quantity Surveyor Infrastructure (Water Sector) – Hybrid Leeds or Birmingham base + regional travel (North & Midlands). Permanent Full-time. Attractive salary + strong benefits package.

We re working with a high-performing consultancy that s carving out a leading presence in utilities and infrastructure. With a growing portfolio across major UK water frameworks, they re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the reins on high-impact projects.

If you re commercially sharp, client-savvy and confident managing infrastructure projects under NEC contracts this is your next big move.

The Role

You'll be the go-to commercial lead on multiple projects, delivering end-to-end Quantity Surveying support while building trusted relationships with clients, contractors and project teams.

Your day-to-day will include
  • Full lifecycle QS duties across major infrastructure schemes
  • Leading client interactions you ll be their trusted commercial advisor
  • Cost planning, estimates and tender documentation
  • Procurement strategy and advice
  • Contract administration (NEC3/4 essential)
  • Cost control, reporting and final accounts
  • Regular site visits and active project leadership
  • Supporting junior team members and sharing your knowledge
  • Keeping communication tight between all stakeholders
What We re Looking For
  • NEC3/4 experience you know it inside out
  • Confident delivering both pre and post-contract services
  • Water sector or wider utilities experience (bonus if you've worked with frameworks like AMP)
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and clients
  • Ideally working towards MRICS or MCICES
  • A proactive, confident communicator who thrives in a client-facing role
