Job summary

A leading NHS healthcare provider in Portsmouth is seeking a Pharmacy Quality Assurance Manager to lead Quality Assurance efforts in their Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Unit. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety while overseeing a team and managing regulatory compliance. Qualifications

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Comprehensive working experience of at least 5 years in Quality Assurance managerial capacity.
  • Thorough understanding of GMP, GCP, WDL and MHRA requirements.
  • Knowledge of QA requirements in the NHS.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Quality Assurance strategic leadership across Pharmacy and Technical Services.
  • Act as Head of Quality and Qualified Person for MHRA manufacturing licences.
  • Develop and maintain Quality Systems, SOPs, and document control in line with GMP requirements.
  • Oversee QA/QC laboratory operations and manage QA and QC staff.
  • Lead regulatory and self-audit programmes.
