A Local Council in Barking is seeking an MEP Senior Project Manager to manage high-value capital projects. The role requires extensive experience in the public sector and strong project management skills, ensuring project delivery within time and budget. Ideal candidates will hold relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2 or APM and possess in-depth knowledge of UK regulations. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Councils Capital Delivery and Planned Works team as an MEP Senior Project Manager with specialised expertise with delivering +£5M MEP projects with London Housing / Local Authorities.
Within the Housing, Environment and Communities (HEC), the Capital Delivery & Planned Works function is responsible for delivering a range of capital projects for maintaining the Councils portfolio of assets, as well as those of other clients such as Reside and the Education department. The goal is to maximize return on investment and support strategic objectives, including the Borough Manifesto.
In this role, you will manage major, high-value MEP capital works projects related to HEC. You will coordinate a team of internal and external stakeholders and service partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

A successful Senior Project Manager delivering MEP projects across life safety, fire safety, electrical safety, mechanical safety, and related disciplines within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham must have an in-depth understanding of key UK regulations and legislation.
