A leading energy solutions provider is seeking a Senior Project Development Manager in Reading or Glasgow. The successful candidate will shape propositions and secure contracts with public and private sectors, managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex energy projects. A competitive salary of £58,100 - £87,100 is offered, along with additional benefits such as a performance-related bonus and flexible working options.

The Major Projects team within Distributed Energy is responsible for the professional management and delivery of high value and complex projects.
Working for the Project Director - the Senior Project Development Manager will be an exciting role responsible for shaping propositions and to help secure contracts and partnerships with public and private sector organisations across the UK. The role will involve bringing together areas of different expertise across Distributed Energy and will heavily involve close working with internal stakeholders, experts and external partners to ensure the proposition is developed in line with our customers\' needs and our strategy.
The role is client facing through the proposition/bid phase leading on the proposition development, that is suited to the clients\' needs. You will manage multi vector, multi discipline teams across a matrix structure, along with supporting teams to ensure that propositions/bids are delivered on time and propositions that are developed are financially viable and signed off by the business. You will be responsible for achieving internal approvals in line with SSE and business governance processes.
The role requires a long term perspective to deliver a 5 year business plan and provide 20+ years of investment return to SSE.
