Role Overview

Our dedicated Project Management Team at RLB are responsible for seeing a project through from the initial planning stages to completion. Their main task is to break down projects into stages, taking responsibility for monitoring and managing the programme, cost, quality and risk of each stage of the project. We pride ourselves on the quality of our service to our clients and enjoy long term relationships with them.

Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity available for a Senior Project Manager with proven experience within the residential sector, to lead on a residential new‑build project (GBP 100m+) as part of a wider town‑centre regeneration scheme, situated in commutable distance to London. The role will include providing leadership to the project team, managing the Client relationship, and driving excellence across all project stages. In addition, there will be the opportunity to deliver various other multi‑million‑pound residential schemes in conjunction, as well as involvement in other sectors.

Role Responsibilities
  • To oversee the successful delivery of projects (in conjunction with the Project Management Partners) with a view to securing repeat business.
  • To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances.
  • To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures.
  • Preparation of progress reports and presentation at monthly client meetings.
  • Working knowledge of various forms of building contracts.
Candidate Profile: Experience
  • Demonstrable experience managing / leading similar projects from conception through to completion, within the residential sector.
  • Experience of administering JCT form of contract.
  • Ability to identify and develop potential opportunities to secure more business for RLB.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and client / external interface skills.
  • A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines.
  • Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills.
Qualifications
  • Construction Project Management degree or a similar construction related qualification.
  • Chartered via a relevant professional body (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM).
