Overview
We are partnering with a leading contractor specialising in high-end fit-out and bespoke joinery projects, seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Operations Land team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead complex projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and deliver outstanding results for prestigious clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, monitoring progress and proactively addressing delays to ensure milestones are achieved.
- Manage project budgets and financial performance, identifying opportunities to maximise value and control costs.
- Maintain quality and compliance, implementing Control Quality Plans, ITPs, risk assessments, and safety procedures.
- Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, embedding a high-performance culture, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring clear communication.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Oversee all site operations, including staff, labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, environmental, health, and safety requirements, and company operational procedures.
- Support bid and tender processes as required.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Extensive project management experience on new build and fit-out projects.
- Relevant third-level qualification or demonstrable experience in a similar Project Management role.
- Strong leadership, organisational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with principal contractors under CDM regulations.
- Commercially aware with strong cost control and IT skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain successful client relationships.
- Capability to plan and organise workloads to meet project milestones.
Preferred:
- Trades or joinery background with extensive management experience.
- CSCS/CSR Managers Card (or equivalent).
