Qualifications

Area of responsibility

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Blast Chill Operative to join our meat processing team. You will play a crucial role in the safe, efficient, and compliant cooling of meat products through the blast chill process. This is a hands-on role working in a chilled environment on our PM shift, from 14:00 to 23:30, Monday to Friday, 43.75 hours per week.

Specific tasks:

  • Execute chilling procedures based on the daily blast schedule. Prioritise workloads to meet production targets and safety standards.
  • Select and process materials based on FIFO to ensure proper stock rotation and compliance.
  • Operate PED stackers and walk-behind trucks safely and efficiently. Use blast chillers, selecting the correct chilling programs for different products.
  • Conduct and document regular quality checks throughout the blast process. Monitor product temperatures, cycle completion, and report any deviations.
  • Complete all input and output registrations accurately using the Arolink system. Ensure all data entries are timely, correct, and compliant with traceability standards.
